Richard Henry Brunton - Wikipedia - born 26 December 1841 in Muchalls
Father of Japanese Lighthouses: over a period of seven and a half years he designed
and supervised the building of 26 Japanese lighthouses in the Western style.

Surgeon Alexander Crombie Keith M.B C.M. - WebPage - born 11 December 1849
Son of William Keith (Muchalls) and Burnette Silver (Netherley), Died 13th January 1880 near Cabul caused by exposure during the campaign In Afghinastan .
